Our Services

Tarzana Treatment Centers offers full-service, comprehensive substance abuse treatment programs by blending Native American traditional healing and evidenced based practices.

We serve adults and youth. Our philosophy is that providing individuals with support, education, and structure will empower them to make healthier choices in their lives.

We believe strongly in the importance of addressing the cultural needs of Native Americans, and recognize that these needs may vary from tribe to tribe. Family involvement is encouraged throughout all phases of treatment. Our treatment includes groups and individual counseling, talking circles, sweat lodge ceremonies, smudging, and medicine wheel/12 step program.

Each treatment plan is individualized and is based on a comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment.

The comprehensive assessment will identify the individual’s strengths and needs, the level of treatment services needed, and the support services the patient may need to address problems and help build skills and confidence. The assessor will explain the options to ensure that each person can make an informed, independent choice about treatment.

Eligible participants will receive vouchers to pay for needed treatment services.
