TTC Youth and Family Services = Multiple Levels of Care

Youth treatment at TTC includes multiple levels of care:

Helping Youth to Succeed and Thrive

At the heart of Youth and Family Services, the programs are designed to help youth succeed and thrive regardless of the issues they are facing. Treating youth (ages 8 to 17), young adults (ages 18 to 23), and their families, the Youth and Family Services programs are easily accessible and convenient, particularly from the hours of 3:00 pm until 8:30 pm. TTC’s Youth Programs conduct intakes/admissions Monday through Friday and on Saturday via appointment.

In the Antelope Valley, TTC operates a youth residential program (ages 12 to 17). In residential treatment, the program uses a level system where each young person’s advancement in the program is based on their input and willingness.

Family Support and Youth Services at TTC

Given the importance of family support, youth treatment services require the participation of a parent or guardian in weekly family sessions. Based on the biopsychosocial model, these assorted services are offered with some services being offered through telehealth or in-person. Moreover, TTC offers the following resources for parents, guardians, and their kids:

Intriguing for both parents and youth, the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) enhances the various youth services programs offered at TTC. The YAB is a body of young people who have been engaged with TTC through treatment, community health education, and outreach. By providing feedback, they help to ensure that the services intended to serve youth and young adults are tailored with peer input and recommendations.

TTC’s treatment programs are designed to help youth recover. For example, TTC’s Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP) is ideal for youth who are functioning well enough to remain at home yet require more comprehensive treatment. In residential treatment, the program uses a multi-step system to obtain whole-person care. Overall, Youth and Family Services lead to long-term recovery, helping young people live productive and successful lives.
