Drug Medi-Cal Information

The Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) Treatment Program

“provides medically necessary substance use disorder treatment services for eligible Medi-Cal beneficiaries.” Substance use treatment is available in a range of services that includes outpatient, medical detoxification, narcotic replacement, and residential treatment starting in 2016.

Residential Services

Outpatient services

Outpatient substance use treatment is covered under Drug Medi-Cal now. Like residential treatment, you need to live in the county where you receive treatment.
