Medications for Addiction Treatment at TTC
We’re aware that it can be difficult to find a provider with Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) services available. When an individual is searching for substance use or mental health treatment, they often are interested in MAT being part of their treatment plan. Tarzana Treatment Centers not only makes MAT available to our patients, but we encourage it for those that would benefit.
MAT services are mostly tailored to heroin and prescription opioid users and can also be used to prevent alcohol relapses. They help to prevent patients from using their drug of choice and, along with counseling, paves a road to recovery. Most important, patients that adhere to a MAT program will not overdose.
