Drug Medi-Cal Outpatient Benefits
Drug Medi-Cal services in Los Angeles are set to expand in scope starting July 2017. However, Drug Medi-Cal outpatient services are available now to all Medi-Cal eligible patients including youth and adults. No matter what your health plan may be for medical benefits – LA Care, Health Net, Kaiser, Blue Cross, Care 1st, or Molina – you are eligible for outpatient Drug Medi-Cal benefits today. These benefits include:
- Outpatient Detoxification
- Outpatient Group and Individual Sessions
- Methadone and Suboxone Maintenance
In addition to these services, Vivitrol, an anti-craving medication, is available via fee-for-service Medi-Cal.
