Dental and Oral Health Care Services
Dental and Oral Health Care is a much-needed specialty service in our Primary Care Program. Following the integrative care model of Tarzana Treatment Centers (TTC), Dental and Oral Health Care provide equitable access to comprehensive services for individuals and families, including those facing additional health challenges. Recognizing the significant connection between oral health and overall wellness, TTC’s experienced dental team is ready and available to provide a positive experience when you visit the dentist.
In addition, the Dental and Oral Health Care team now offers a wide range of essential services. These services include, but are not limited to, the following:

If needed, emergency dental care is available as well upon request. While orthodontic services and implants are not currently part of TTC’s dental offerings, what is available ensures that patients receive quality care to support long-term dental health. Also, any additional services will be outsourced to partner providers with a respected track record of excellence.
It is important to note that TTC’s commitment to inclusive care extends to specialized populations, including patients in treatment for substance use disorders and those receiving HIV care. The dental team is trained to address the unique needs of these individuals. Many of these patients are at higher risk for dental complications due to their substance use history, medical conditions, or treatment side effects. Free from stigma or prejudice, our dental staff is here to help restore the oral health of all members of our community.
In addition to the above services, TTC Dental and Oral Health Care Services also provides the following services and support:
- Comprehensive Oral Health Examinations and X-rays
- Diagnostics Screenings for Caries and Periodontal Disease with X-rays and 3D Imaging
- Oral Health Education (Prevention of Oral Trauma and Oral Cancer)
- Preventative Dental Care, including Fluoride Treatments
Since we service families and individuals, Tarzana Treatment Centers strongly emphasizes preventive dental care for children. Dental health exams integrated into routine well-child medical visits are available as early as infancy. These non-invasive exams allow the dental team to “peek” at an infant’s oral health, helping detect potential issues early. This proactive approach ensures that children begin their lives with a solid foundation for healthy teeth and gums, setting the stage for better health outcomes as they grow.
Beyond children, TTC emphasizes the significance of Dental and Oral Health Care for our most vulnerable populations. Thus, as part of these specialty services, we offer safe and effective dental services for pregnant women and seniors. As mentioned before, we also provide dental care for HIV/AIDS patients that require added precautions and in-depth knowledge.
These services offer a continuum of care that addresses the whole person. By integrating dental services with our other healthcare programs, Tarzana Treatment Centers provides a supportive environment where patients receive holistic, coordinated care that promotes good dental hygiene and oral health.
