Keith Ian Star, MA, LMFT, MBA, is the Director of TTC’s inpatient psychiatric hospital providing substance use disorder withdrawal management, and acute mental health services. With over 40 years of dedicated experience, Mr. Star has demonstrated expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals facing complex behavioral health challenges. He is an accomplished clinical and administrative leader.

Mr. Star’s distinguished career includes serving as the Outpatient Services Director at Tarzana Treatment Centers from 1987 to 1995, after which he expanded his expertise in managed care with prominent organizations such as PacifiCare Behavioral Health, Managed Health Network, and Health Net. In 2005, he returned to Tarzana Treatment Centers to assume senior leadership roles, contributing to the organization’s mission to provide comprehensive behavioral health care.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Star is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an active contributor to the professional community, including authoring a self-study HIV/AIDS continuing education manual for LMFTs and LCSWs. He is also engaged with various boards and community organizations and has been featured in media outlets at both local and national levels.
